Please read my question about my broken collar bone situation and give advice?

I broke my collar bone just about a month ago. I went to my orthaepedic doctor last Tuesday and he did a follow up x ray and exam and said that it seemed like i was healing quite a bit slower than normal patients. He said that the bone is about 1.5 CM apart still but i shouldn't need surgery. Although most people at this time get to take off the figure eight brace that i am wearing, he said i should keep wearing it. He renewed my prescription for Vicodin and said i could call when i need a refill to get his authorization. I only have one left and had walgreens fax the authorization to the doctor last night and today the receptionist called. My doctor is on vacation and the other doctors will not authorize the refill. They think i have been on vicodin too long and should be taking just ibuprofen. I tried explaining to her that i am still in significant pain and that i do take ibuprofen but it doesn't really do anything. She was not helpful and didn't really seem to be very understanding whatsoever. I don't understand why these doctors who never examined me get to decide what's best when my real doctor said something completely different. What can i do to get rid of the pain once the vicodin wears off? I also heard that ibuprofen slows the healing process so i dont want to take any more than i am taking now. Anyone have any advice?

How does this story idea of mine sound?

Personally, I read Speak and loved it, overall it was a fantastic book! I think this idea sounds great, although it could use a little more uph to it, I like how you plan to start from the future into the past at the beginning, I think it makes the storyline more interesting. I am a young adult and this is something that I would read because I like these type of book/stories :)

I have two sets of data on two different spreadsheets. My goal is to grab data from Spreadsheet 1, and use it to consolidate more data on spreadsheet 2. For example, Spreadsheet 1 has data on columns A, B and C that I am interested in. Spreadsheet 2 has the same data as column A from spreadsheet 1, but is missing data similar to columns B, and C. My goal is to be able to use data on column A from Spreadsheet 2, look up some values in Spreadsheet 1 from and pull the data from columns B, and C and add such data into Spreadsheet as a new column D. I'm looking for the title of a book or book series in th genre of juvenile fiction perhaps?

It was around the late 80s early 90s and the one book I read as a kid was the first of a series from what I remember. The story was about a group of kids whose plane crashed on an island and they had to fight against the island inhabitants - they ended up finding some secret base or something and maybe a secret room using a code word they found -"Prometheus" maybe. I remember somebody was flying a glider around dropping fire bombs. The book was pretty graphic in it's writing. For example when the plane crashed it talked about how one dead kid's brains were showing from a head wound. That's why I'm inclined to think it was a juvenile fiction genre or something like it. Not something for audiences that are too young. I had to have been at least 12 when I read it.

Joining Army, but Vandalism charge?

I used the Neti Pot for the first time and found it interesting that it took so long--about 10 to 15 seconds for the liquid to begin to flush out the other nostril. And then it only drips slowly. Is that typical? It also seems to take longer going one direction that the other which seems weird to me. Lately here all Kofi's been doing is saving Punk's . He lost his title, and so did Punk, therefore that gives them both a reason to become a tag team champion. Kofi has nothing else going for him now ever since losing it to Santino. I'm hoping the tag team thing is only temporary, and that Punk will emerge in at least the upper midcard scene again. Also hope Kofi gets his title back, because he deserves it more than Santino. It's a decent angle until Orton gets back though. Both Kofi and Punk are pretty big fan favorites, therefore it will spice up the tag team division a bit.

depends on the place u hav the tiles but for me i only use bal products bal bluestar would b suitible to stick tiles onto drywall and as for grout i find the cement based wide joint grouts look the best..any trade silicone sealant is the choice and as for finishing the tiles to make the job look good after silicone sealing get a clothe and some baby oil and wipe over tiles and grout ull see it brings colour out and any grout powder left disappears good luck

Don't go with what people tell you to buy, go with what is better for you. The Les Paul will have alot more b to it and has a three way switch and humbuckers. Totally different sound than a strat. strats are very "twangy" not as much b and not as much distortion. I have both and like them both the same. Les Pauls sound better for certain songs and les pauls sound better for others. That's why Jimmy Page, Slash, Zakk Wylde etc... use Les Pauls because they have that crunch they need. When I'm driving with the windows down and reach a more rural stretch of road surrounded by woods I notice a significant temp drop. Does anyone else have a mastiff puppy with lymphedema (swollen feet/legs)?

I bought this female english mastiff pup at 6 weeks from a "backyard breeder". Big mistake and I have certainly been taught a lesson. Right after I got her I took her to the vet because one rear leg was swollen and I thought she hurt it. The vet informed the puppy was extremely small (3.8 lbs!) and anemic and had parasites. I got x rays, blood tests and turned out she has lymphedema and all of her legs have now become swollen. I'm not willing to give her back to the breeder to be euthanized so I'm looking for anyone with experience with this to give me some advice. Ive wormed her and she has doubled her weight in 2 weeks. She now weighs about 8 or 9 lbs at 8 weeks and is very vigorous. Except for her relative smallness and grossly swollen legs, she behaves like any other puppy. I would greatly appreciate any advice. (and not scolding from buying from the newspaper. Ive already paid financially and emotionally a great deal). Thanks all!

The biggest difference is going to be cost. Maple is a darker wood anyway but is usually expensive oak is usually on the high side as well. Wetsuits Southern California - O'niell mutant and others?

I'm in the southbay area, recently moved here and I'm already starting to get excited for the winter time. I was at a shop today and looked at some wetsuits. I looked at a O'neill mutant 3/2 its got an awesome price on it right now, from last fall. It also comes with a hood. Does anyone know about this particular suit? It has a entry system which has flaps over the neck and shoulder area as opposed to a zipper that runs down the back. Also how long will the 3/2 hold up in the cold. Some people have told me to just get a 4/3 but I'm worried that I will have an intermittent period in the fall and spring where I will bake in a 4/3 but it will be too cold for me not to wear anything. I've also heard that a 3/2 with booties will help keep you warmer (i'm uming less water exchange that way???). I would really appreciate any advice on other brands (heard good things about rip curl) and whether I should pick up multiple suits (although I'm short on cash). I have a website that looks different between IE and Firefox. Right now, it looks fine in IE, but is off in Firefox. If I fix it to look right in Firefox, it looks off in IE. I know there is probably some way I can pinpoint the problem in my stylesheet so that both are the same, but if I can't do that, can (and should I) use JavaScript to detect the browser, and just have it use a different stylesheet depending on which browser the user has? Ok we planned for the colors to be red and white, its in less than three weeks and there's a little problem! Our favor bags, ribbon on the cake, flowers, plates, and everything else is a bright red, what we wanted, and I ordered a dress that was white with what appeared to be red trim, it came in last week and its very dark, almost scarlett/ or burgundy! Did I just made a huge mistake?

I am a single parent, have been for 14 years. I have a 16 year old son and for the last 2 years his grades have been slipping. His dad is not a very big part of his life, he has never been reliable or dependable and according to him I keep my son under too close supervision, he says that our son is a man and needs more freedom. I switched him from schools per his request in hopes he would do better. 3 months ago his new school report card came with a 2.35 an improvement from his last, but not where he promised he would be. The low grades are due to missing ignments and the teachers gave him this 3 day weekend to complete them. Well I was checking his second essay today and found he plagiarized and I got really upset because he denied it. I told him he needed to get his act together and I would not let him play football anymore and he needed to get a part time job, or move in with his dad. He called him, and his dad says he can come pick him up on Wednesday. But I am afraid that if my son does not have someone constantly on his case he will just drop out of school, but then again he may just want some freedom. btw we live in Los Angeles.

I was diagnosed with malignant melanoma about a mth and a half ago, my dermatologist recommended that I see an oncologist to have some blood work and a chest x ray done. The oncologist has done the blood work and chest x ray, and thursday i am having a sentinel node biopsy done, the doc is also recommending a pet scan be done. what are they looking for, did some of my labs come back abnormal, or are the docs being safe? If it ever becomes a possibility then some people will get whether or not it is legal . I don't see the attraction of immortality myself and there are those like me that don't want it. I do think though if there is opposition to it and a call for it to be illegal that will come from the religious people ,especially christians who will in their muddled thinking see it as playing god. I say muddled thinking because when something they like comes along in the medical field it is god working through the doctor,if they don't like it then it is doctors playing god.

Is This Really Asthma?

Is it possible to have an asthma attack--chest tightening and difficulty breathing--without a cough or wheezing. I rarely have a cough (not even in the mornings) and, therefore, there is never any phlegm. I had an EKG, and was told that I'm not having a heart attack, and my chest x-ray was clear. My breathing difficulties are worse at night.

well the only wy to be sure is go to the doctors. Take an HPT you cn buy one at the dollar store or a pharmacy. Why would you automatically suspect Mono? there a lot of things that can make that happen. I had mono whn I was 18. I went to the hospital b/c I almost ped out at work and my body would barely move. I did end up with strep throat as well which is very common. she needs to see a doctor to rule out anything. Especially if she is pregnant.

I was born in Finland but I moved to the United States when I was 19. I am now 27 and I'm married. When I was 21 I met my future husband. He is Chinese. I'm sure it's not too much of an oddity in America, but in Finland seeing a white women with an Asian man or any man of color for that matter is extremely rare, almost nonexistent. Him being Asian did not matter to me at all. I was just so charmed by him I knew I wanted to be with him. When I was 23 I took him back to Finland to meet my friends and family. How can I fix my abysmally small download speed?

Recently, my download/upload speeds have dropped to nearly nonexistent levels. Before, I was downloading at about 300 kbps-1 mbps, but recently the fastest I can get is around 6 to 8 kbps. This is NOT because of my ISP (I use Clearwire, not Clear), and my internet still functions like I'm at 300 kbps for displaying pages. When I open a download (I use Firefox), the download speed starts at around the previous speeds (~1 mbps), but gradually drops by about 10 kbps every 2 to 3 seconds until it hits the 6-7 kbps mark. I highly suspect that this is because of my antivirus programs (I have a few: Bitdefender, Symantec antivirus, and Cisco clean system agent, and the basic windows firewall). I've tried disabling the firewalls and antiviruses, but the download speed only raises by about 1 to 2 kbps. However, I can "distract" whatever is slowing my download speeds by opening several downloads or internet-related programs, which raises the download speed significantly until the program finishes loading, at which point the speed drops again. I've been scouring the internet and google for help, but haven't found any so far. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Screaming Toddler...?

In the past few weeks my son has started SCREAMING at the top of his lungs when he doesnt get what he wants. He likes to try to get into the fridge.(hes not allowed and he knows it) so when I open the fridge he usually comes running to it...I close it befour he is able to get into it, when I do so...he runs the other way screaming like hes being abducted. Thats just one example...he does this everytime I stop him from doing something hes not supposed to. I dont know what to do about it. I try ignoring it, because then maybe he'll realize that hes not getting any attention when he does it...that has failed because then he sometimes will scream untill I do something about it...ive tried getting really stern with him looking him in the eyes and telling him no screaming...sometimes when I do that he screams again. I feel like I have no control over him. I just wish he would stop the screaming, but I dont know any ways to teach him he needs to stop, and thats not the right way to get attention. Hes 1 1/2, pretty much well rounded and reaching his milestones on time...just the screaming...any advice?? Thanks!!!

Girls, do you think she likes me?

A friend and I went down and visited a girl that I have been talking to. We live an hour away from each other, and she has been down to visit me and has gone bowling with me. She is usually commenting/liking my Facebook status updates. Well last night she was really giggly. Laughing at most of the stuff I would say, and she laughed at some of the stuff my friend would say. You could tell a difference between her laughing at the stuff I said compared to the laughing at the stuff my friend said. I noticed she was looking at me and twirling her hair frequently. When we were riding around with her, she and I fought about the radio station causing she and I to have a hand fight we grabbed each others hands pulling it away from the radio. She runs a snow cone stand and the other day when I went by to get one, she wouldn't let me pay. Last night I gave her some money and she threw it back in my truck. She ran inside her house before I could give it back to her and she stood by the window laughing. I think she likes me, but I want some others opinions. I asked my friend, but he was no help.

Why are we supporting a government with our taxes that doesn’t support but enslaves us?

We, America needs people like you to run for office...people who still love America and her capitalistic ways. Our government and a lot of the people believe in socialism-a one world government. Small business owners could help by running for office. Anyone who loves our rights our fore-father's gave us should run for any kind of government position. Our senator's, congressmen and, even our President does not read bills they push through. The Tea Party seems to make a difference in opening doors to Constitutional Rights and insight on how many Americans are fed up with politics. I will be looking further into becoming a town meeting member again, I became discouraged last time. I truly believe our government wants America to fail and become a one world government. Spent 2 weeks in Eagle e, SD this summer, went to Pierre, Sturgis, Crazy horse monument and a lot of other places. The only "Indian" food I had was Indian taco. As far as I can tell, the only Indian part of the Indian taco was the fry bread. As a food lover, I was pretty dissapointed with the original food offering in SD. i know you wouldn't think it, but troy polamalu is THE nicest, quietest, most sincere guy you will meet in the NFL. have you ever heard him in an interview? you can barely hear him since he talks so softly. he's a very religious man (notice how he crosses his chest after each and every play) and is a very devoted family guy. him speaking out a few weeks ago about how the NFL is getting "pansy" was the harshest i've heard him since he joined the steelers. since then he's said he is done commenting on anything for the rest of the season, as he hated all the attention his candid remarks brought. he's like a dr. jekyl/mr. hyde type guy. one way on the field but nothing like it off.

i have been igned a school math project and one of the tasks that i need to do is find a worksheet that i can print off. i need this worksheet to be only about 5 problems long but i will take anything available and edit it to what i need. this needs to cover the surface area of rectangular and triangular prisms. no pyramids, cones, ext. i have looked at a few teacher recourses but to use them you have to pay to become a member. im only a freshman i have no need for a membership to a teacher website. also i have found many problems online but i have to have an answer key to go along with them. i need any and all help i can get, i have to have this project complete by tuesday. thanks so much! -rachel

You need more training. Have you seen her team? She has (if i reember correctly) a lucario, Roserade, Milotic, Garchomp, Gastrodon and a Spirittomb, all of which in lv. 65-67. You need to train a little more. Your giratina may take out her Garchomp, but if it's not trained more, Garchomp will have more speed and take it down as it does know Dragon rush. And judging from your team, looks like Milotic will at least take more than half down, since it knows water and ice type moves, so i would suggest replacing one of your fire types with a Luxray, since you do have two. hope i helped
