Are there any Caucasian women who are dating or married to Asian Men?

I was born in Finland but I moved to the United States when I was 19. I am now 27 and I'm married. When I was 21 I met my future husband. He is Chinese. I'm sure it's not too much of an oddity in America, but in Finland seeing a white women with an Asian man or any man of color for that matter is extremely rare, almost nonexistent. Him being Asian did not matter to me at all. I was just so charmed by him I knew I wanted to be with him. When I was 23 I took him back to Finland to meet my friends and family. Unfortunately, my parents could not see past the color of his skin. I would say it was probably also difficult for him to be open with my parents since he did not speak Finnish and he was also very nervous. My parents gave him some fake affections and then told me that they had a problem with him being Asian. I was quite angry and I do not talk much to them after that. I would like to know if any other women experienced criticism from family for dating an Asian man.
