I have three singing questions?

I keep singing nasally how do i stop it? When i eat i wait like two hours later but theres still lots of phlegm in my throat? And finally if i like to sing and stop for like one year than sing again will my voice still sound good or do i constantly have to keep singing to keep my voice thks...
