Has anybody has ever experience the tv when off and on by itself?

My husband has already experience something strange with the tv shortly after he move in this house. He was standing in the living room and suddenly the tv just went on by itself so when he went to see it closer it just went off in front his very eyes.That is spooky.What do u guys think of this? Is it haunted?
