Epiphone les paul 100 vs squier strat?

Don't go with what people tell you to buy, go with what is better for you. The Les Paul will have alot more b to it and has a three way switch and humbuckers. Totally different sound than a strat. strats are very "twangy" not as much b and not as much distortion. I have both and like them both the same. Les Pauls sound better for certain songs and les pauls sound better for others. That's why Jimmy Page, Slash, Zakk Wylde etc... use Les Pauls because they have that crunch they need. People like Bryan Adams, Eric Clapton etc... Use strats for that cleaner sound. Check out www.musiciansfriend.com, search up some les pauls ans strats and look at the reviews and specs.
