What are some fun X-Men series?

The Ultimate universe is always interesting. I particularly like Ultimate Spider-man, but yea, Ultimate X-Men should be cool (haven't actually read ultimate x-men personally, lol). Also, there is the Noir universe is your looking for that darker tone, with spider-man and x-men noir series. Ummmm in terms of others, maybe try v for vendetta? or the dark knight universe/series (it's a none canonical comic series for batman. has nothing to do with the mainstream batman and the rest of the dc universe)
