Will a scratched mouthpiece affect the sound of a tenor sax?
My tenor sax mouthpiece has a few scratches on the side after my mother took it upon herself to bend the ligature back into place and force it onto the mouthpiece. Will this affect the sound of the instrument and the quality of the sound the mouthpiece will produce?
